man of honor JOSH BARNABEI
how do you know the happy couple Rachel and I have been best friends for almost 10 years now! We first met in the freshman architecture dorm at Cal Poly and remained roommates for all of our time SLO! We bonded over our passion for design, nature, and music. Since graduation, we both moved up to San Francisco. I got to meet Henry once they started dating, and I love that I get to be a part of their journey together!
fun fact about me I love vintage fashion! There’s no such thing as being overdressed for the occasion.
best man AARON BOSWELL
how do you know the happy couple I’m Henry’s brother. Over the course of our lives, Henry and I have been through more adventures together than I can count. He is full of ideas and he is driven enough to actualize all (some) of them, and I was always more than happy to be his number two in any crazy plot. Now that Henry met Rachel, I’m happy to watch from the sidelines as he starts the next and biggest adventure with a new partner in crime.
fun fact about me My real dog hates my robot dog.
bridesmaid SHOSHANA HERZOG
how do you know the happy couple Rachel and I have been friends since the very beginning of college, when we were in the same orientation group. Her energy is so much fun and I immediately knew I had to be friends with her. Since then we have been best friends, roommates, and partners in crime. When I met Henry I quickly saw that he matches Rachel's energy and brings the same amount of love and fierce loyalty that makes Rachel such an amazing friend. He has been the perfect addition to our adventures and I love seeing how happy they are together!
fun fact about me I am happiest when I am upside down or dancing!
groomsman JACK FERRY
how do you know the happy couple Rachel is my big sister. Ever since she would drive me to school in the morning, she has exuded exuberance, effusing ebullient eagerness in pursuit of her partialitical passion for architecture, furred familiars, and furless fond-kind frienderial fellows. To furred familiars, she expansively extends enumerated edgelines, bringing treasured treats and couch comforts with unhindered uniqueness of comfortable constitution. To furless fond-kind frienderial fellows, she is fantastically & frenetically free. And to me, she is irreplaceable.
fun fact about me I am writing a fantasy novel.

bridesmaid MEGAN WIDENER
how do you know the happy couple Rachel is my cousin, and we have had many great family beach weeks together. The ones that stick out the most are the ones we spent at Wrightsville Beach. We would spend the days boogie boarding, body surfing and digging “glunk pots”. However, when cocktail hour would hit, we would sit out on the deck, which was next toSAR the walkway, and yell “cupcake” whenever a cute guy was approaching. We would then try to see who could embarrass whom more in front of the cute guy! Rachel, I am happy you found your “cupcake”!
fun fact about me I ride horses and compete in dressage.
groomsman ARYAMAN SHARDA
how do you know the happy couple Henry and I first met in 2018 when we were both starting off our careers as iOS Developers in San Francisco. We quickly bonded over our shared interests in electronics, programming, drones, and - most importantly - great cuisine. We spent a lot of our time exploring San Francisco's culinary scene and cooking together with friends. We went on to work together at Porsche and have been great friends ever since. I was introduced to Rachel shortly after they began dating and I’m excited to be a part of their special day!
fun fact about me I had a brief stint working in a bakery, so in my spare time, I still enjoy making sourdough bread and Neopolitan-style pizza.
bridesmaid TAYLOR BONTZ
how do you know the happy couple Rachel arrived with Shoshana at the first housewarming party my roommate Sarah and I threw in San Francisco. Once we realized she lived 3 blocks away our friendship was sealed. We bonded over a love of sushi and scotch. Luckily I got to meet Henry quickly after they met and during covid we formed a bubble that kept us semi-sane. I’m so glad to have Henry’s cooking and humor in my life. Living in adjacent buildings now makes it super easy to pop over for drinks, dinner, and shenanigans!
fun fact about me I read 150+ books in 2022.
groomsman WYATT BROOKS
how do you know the happy couple It’s been thirty years since our parents let us loose in Muskoka wearing diapers and life jackets. Shortly after, the race started. Who could swim the fastest, skip a rock the furthest, do the most pull-ups and build the most bad ass Lego car. Before anyone was ready for it, we were grabbing the keys to anything that had an engine, toting fake ID’s and racing to our next silly idea. Henry introduced me to Rachel, and I got to help introduce her to this playground that is the cottage. I’d say this marriage is one more win for my oldest friend!
fun fact about me I’ve broken more bones than you. Probably crashed more cars too.

bridesmaid SARAH VANDEVERT
how do you know the happy couple I met Rachel a few years ago when I moved to start my career in San Francisco. As two new recent graduates who lived only blocks apart, we fostered our blooming friendship over exploring all our new city had to offer. One of my favorite adventures was a mini hike to Fisherman’s Wharf to watch the Blue Angels and bar hopping our way home. I met Henry after he and Rachel had started dating (and after using his apartment as a study hall for our licensing exams). Henry’s appreciation for red wine and lively conversations made him the perfect addition to our Covid Bubble.
fun fact about me I’ve been to 19 foreign countries; my goal is to visit 50 countries by the time I’m 50.
groomsman RAY WEI
how do you know the happy couple I've known Henry for over 10 years starting back in high school. Since then he's been my best friend throughout college and as trustworthy as an older brother to me. After Henry introduced me to Rachel, the three of us explored San Francisco's dining, double date, and outdoor excursion spots. It's heartwarming to see Henry and Rachel grow their lives together these past few years!
fun fact about me I share the same birthday as Mike Tyson and Michael Phelps.
bridesmaid NATALIE DUNBAR
how do you know the happy couple I first met Henry several years ago when I started dating his younger brother Aaron. I quickly learned that Henry was incredibly fun and easy to get along with, and so the three of us spent a lot of time together both in Canada and the Bay Area. I remember the first time we met Rachel - it was the day after her's and Henry's first date. We knew it went very well because Henry invited her to have dinner with us that night. Over the past couple of years we were lucky enough to live in the same city and explore nature, restaurants, and have countless family dinners together. Although Aaron and I moved to the east coast and are a little farther now, I am so grateful to have a new boating buddy at the cottage, a second home wherever Henry and Rachel are, and an amazing puppy uncle and aunt for our dog Bagel!
fun fact about me Besides our mutual love for Boswell boys, Rachel and I also (almost) share a birthday! Just one day apart!
groomsman BLAKE CARTER
how do you know the happy couple I have known Henry for about 15 years as we spent our summers in Muskoka bonding through sailing races, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and cruising around in our 9.9 horsepower tin boats as kids. With long gaps between seeing each other, I found that the sign of a true friendship is picking up right where you left off. Rachel and I met earlier this summer, and I couldn’t be more excited to see where life takes the two of them together.
fun fact about me I have two webbed toes on each foot, so I can swim faster than Henry despite his unusually long wingspan.
bridesmaid KAYLA CLARK CHENEY
how do you know the happy couple I met Henry several years ago through my husband James, one of Henry’s best friends - and we immediately bonded over our shared love of orange cats and wine. I met Rachel a few years later on a wine tasting weekend in Sonoma and since then we have all enjoyed many double dates, parties, and adventures - and one Polar Bear dip (so far!). While the boys have martinis, Rachel and I have gotten close chatting about our time at Cal Poly and our plans to settle in Seattle!
fun fact about me I have one tattoo and it is a heart that was a Valentine’s Day Special for $20 (what a steal!).
groomsman LOGAN CARTER
how do you know the happy couple I met Henry more than 15 years ago in our preteen years at sailing school in Muskoka. We bonded fast, our small group blossomed with Wyatt, the Carter Brothers, and the Boswell Brothers. Inseparable in the summers we had many adventures that shaped our young years: sailing races, meet ups on blueberry Island, sweet haircuts in Huntsville, boathouse parties, and bombing around the lake in a flotilla of tin 9.9s. I'm honored to stand with Henry as he joins with the bright and beautiful Rachel, ready for their next adventure.
fun fact about me Canadian born, American educated. I love random knowledge, talk to me about anything!

bridesman BARRY O'BRIEN
how do you know the happy couple I met Rachel after college through our mutual friends Taylor and Shoshana (you may recognize them as my fellow Bridesmaids!), we quickly hit it off and became best friends, spending countless nights exploring San Francisco nightlife. I met Henry a couple years later, where in an effort to make a good impression on Rachel's friends, he spilled a martini on himself and then an hour later, fell down a set of stairs. His lovable clumsiness won me over that night and we have been friends ever since!
fun fact about me I have been to the top of the Golden Gate Bridge!
groomsman CHARLIE KING
how do you know the happy couple I met Henry the first day of freshman year of highschool on the bus on the way home from school. I had just moved to California and there was this kid on the bus yelling about something. I gave him a look of surprise, but in typical Henry fashion he came up to me and befriended me. About a week later, I was taking a family bike ride around the neighborhood when I saw Henry riding down a very steep hill on a bike with Aaron tied behind him in a homemade and makeshift tobogan. We have been friends ever since. I got the pleasure of meeting Rachel after Henry and Rach started dating, and it has been so great to watch their love grow.
fun fact about me I love going to trivia and can frequently be seen at various bars in the city competing. But unfortunately, as much as I try, I have never won. A lot of second place finishes, but never taken home the trophy.
officiant JAMES CHENEY
how do you know the happy couple Henry and I became friends in 2001, going on a field trip in 3rd grade. Ask us about boiler boats, cops and robbers, and/or( false) allegations of selling bombs. I had the privilege of meeting Rachel soon after they got together, and my wife Kayla and I got to know them as a couple while we were living in the Bay Area (now we live in Seattle).
fun fact about me I have no shame and will say and do outlandish things, but when it gets right down to it I am simple, even boring. I believe in usurping plutocratic capitalism via a global network of cooperatively owned businesses.
